The font consists of a cylindrical basin decorated with a braid or double rope moulding below the upper rim, the latter being damaged at several spots, at least two of which, at opposite ends, must have been related to the anchorage hardware of an earlier font cover; diamond or lozenge pattern band below, and a row of horsehoe arches at the bottom of the basin side, all around; on a plain circular pedestal base, the sides slightly concave, and a plain and round lower base. No font cover present. [cf. Index entry for Ermelo No. 2 for a stoup of the same style and period (?) in this church]
