Font Notes:
Baptismal font made of granite, the roughly hemispherical basin of reddish granite, the round to square base greyish; the basin has a double falt moulding [torus-scotia-torus] at the upper end, with the names of the four Ecangelists inscribed in the upper moulding; there are symbols carved on the underbowl, on of them an Agnus Dei; the base has a roll moulding atop, with boraching that makes it sqaure below. The font appears modern. No cover present. [NB: we have no information on the font of the original 13th-century priory church here].
