Baptismal font made of granite and usually dated to the 12th-13th century, the date of the original church here; the basin is round slightly tapering towards the underbowl; there are three heads, two of which are very flat, almost level with the rim, but one is much larger, much protruding out of the rim; the rim itself cosists of a rope motif moulding; below it is an acanthus vine that fills the gaps between the heads; the sides below this band are divided into three panels by the clothing belonging to the heads, and each houses a quadruped passant to the left, one of them a lion, another a dragon, the third unidentified, with a pointed snout; on a pedestal base that is round with a roll moulding at the top but cut to square below in the shape of a cushion capital, the sides decorated with acanthus plants or branches. No cover present; the font uses a late-17th century brass baptismal dish insert, as is now customary in these latitudes. The font is now located at the east end of the nave, not its original location.
