Baptismal font made of blue-ish limestone; octagonal basin with four protruding heads, male and female, at 90-degree angles, the other sides decorated with shallowly-carved cherub heads; cylindrical stem has four human heads, male and female, in medallion-like circles, with large Xs or saltires between them [NB: one of the sides appears to have been either left rough, probably to make the font fit in a narrow space, or against a corner]; lower base is round-to-octagonal and has eight flat faces on it; they appear to be putti, rather than cherubs. Brass cover of domed shape has orb-and-cross finial; probably 19th-century; it is hinged onto a brass platform secured to the upper rim.
