One of four disused baptismal fonts kept in a locked 'corral' at the west end of the San Martín church, in Capella. This one consists of a roughly cylindrical basin with a rounded underbowl; the basin sides are decorated with, from the top down: row of discs, moulding, row of beads, moulding, ribbed pattern, each rib capped by a round arch-head ended in trefoiled tips; the inner well of the basin is patterned with concave ribbing, and has several holes on the inner side that may have been originally anchoring points for an earlier cover; there are signs on the upper rim of similar damage made probably by more anchoring points; there is no drain hole now, but it is not clear whether there was an original one that was cemented over; on a round pedestal base. No cover present.
