Baptismal font now located outside the church, on the south side of the west entranceway; it consists of a plain roughly hemispherical basin with a slightly indented upper rim, and a plain cylindrical pedestal base; both pieces made of coarse local granite. No cover present, but one of the sides of the upper rim has an indentation that may indicate the use of a cover at an earlier date. The font has no decorative element or characteristic that would help with its dating, and could be the original of the 13th-century church here [or two centuries older!] The SIPA site [www.monumentos.pt/Site/APP_PagesUser/] [accessed 4 October 2015] notes the installation of a holy-water stoup in the interior of the church, on the north side of the west doorway, as well as the restoration of the [old?] font, and the placement of a new font inside the building, both carried out in 1956 [= "No lado do Evangelho, arcossólio com pia de água-benta, porta de acesso ao exterior [...] 1956 - obras na sacristia que é transformada, sendo a actual sacristia atrás do retábulo, com entrada sob a imagem de Santo António; remoção da pia e colocação de nova pia sob arcossólio"].
