The present font in this church is a composite object: a roughly hemispherical basin decorated with a shallow arcade of round arcjhes all around rests on a granite base that looks like a former capital, or even a mortar; the basin appears late-medieval, and the base could be earlier. There is no font cover present, but the side of the basin shows evidence of repairs that may be related to and earlier cover hardware.
