The present font is described in SIPA [IPA.00004279] [www.monumentos.pt/Site/APP_PagesUser/SIPA.aspx?id=4279] [accessed 30 August 2015]: "Sob este [i.e., coro alto], no lado do Evangelho, pia baptismal em cantaria [de granito], com taça hemisférica, ornada por caneluras e assente em pequena coluna". This font may be 17th or 18th century. [NB: we have no information on the font of the original Romanesque church here].
