There are two entries for they Wymondham [variant spelling] in the Domesday survey [http://opendomesday.org/place/SK8518/wymondham/] [accessed 28 August 2015], one of which mentions a priest, but not a church in it, though there probably was one there. The entry for this church in English Heritage [Listing NGR: SK851571865] (1968) notes: "Fittings include octagonal C15 font with saltire cross and quatrefoil panels".
