view of church exterior - south view

Scene Description: Source caption: "Church of St Mary, Rolleston. View from the south. The oldest parts of the church date from the 12th century and show Norman features. Unusually, the aisles do not run forward to the west end of the nave. Also unusual are the offset bell-chamber opening on the west and south faces of the tower, to accommodate the tower staircase. The spire was not added until 1892. Listed Grade I."
