Thre is an entry for [Potters] Marston [variant spelling] in the Domesday survey [http://opendomesday.org/place/SP4996/potters-marston/] [accessed 19 August 2015], but it mentions neither cleric nor church in it. English Heritage [Listing NGR: SP4982196338] (1957) reports "a wineglass-shaped memorial font with lattice patterend bowl inscribed 'J S 1918-1945'" in this 15th-16th-century church.
