The original font here may have been destroyed in 1650; Harvey & Harvey (2014) report that the 1650 earthquake practically destroyed the city of Cuzco: "Casi todo el Cuzco, quedó destruido [...] La misma suerte corrieron las iglesias de [...] San Blas" [Harvey & Harvey (ibid.) give a reference to to Anales del Cuzco, 1901: 106). The RPP Nacional [www.rpp.com.pe/2014-12-05-cusco-43-ninos-fueron-bautizados-en-templo-de-san-blas-noticia_748524.html] [accessed 18 August 2015] shows a recent baptismal scene using a font that is not the one from the colonial church here.
