Font Notes:
The original font here was probably destroyed, like the rest of the church, in the earthquake of 1650. A new font may have been introduced in the re-building of this curch in 1675. Harvey & Harvey (2014) report that the 1650 earthquake practically destroyed the city of Cuzco: "Casi todo el Cuzco, quedó destruido [...] se arruinaron: el convento de la Merced y Santa Catalina íntegramente."
