Baptismal font listed in the Enciclopedia del Románico [https://www.romanicodigital.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/files/segovia_SAN_PEDRO_DE_GAÍLLOS.pdf] [accessed 29 September 2025]: "Al final de la nave, arrinconada, encontramos la pila bautismal del templo (127 cm x 98 cm x 10 cm) con un pie nuevo de cemento y copa semiesférica decorada con dieciséis grandes gallones y sobre ellos un grueso sogueado recorriendo toda la circunferencia de la copa." Baptismal font described and illustrated in Inventario Románico [www.amigosdelromanico.org/inventario/fichas/espana/segovia/sanpedrodegaillos_sanpedro.html] [accessed 14 August 2014]: "Pila bautismal. A los pies de la nave se encuentra la pila bautismal románica. La copa tiene unas dimensiones de 127x98 cm y se decora con dieciséis gruesos gallones coronados por un sogueado. El tenante original se perdió y fue sustituido por una pieza de cemento." Baptismal font consisting of a large roughly hemispherical basin decorated with a thin rope moulding above the pattern of sixteen massive broad ribs all around. The basin now rests on a concrete base of square shape, having lost its original base. The wooden cover is round, flat and plain, hinged in the middle.
