The second of two stoups that appear to have been re-cycled from former capitals; given the pattern of the inner basin it was probably hollowed out in the 13th or 14th century, when the concave pattern was popular in fonts and stoup; the basin is roughly square on the outside, with prtrusions at the angles that may have been heads originally but are too eroded now for any identification; it is raised on a round pedestal base and is located against a pillar of the south arcade, inside the south aisle.
