The Service des sites et monuments nationaux [www.ssmn.public.lu/patrimoine/religieux/eglises/region_moselle/grevenmacher/index.html] [accessed 27 June 2015] notes: "Le clocher, une ancienne tour de garde du Moyen Âge, constitue l’élément le plus ancien de l’édifice. La nef, érigée en 1782 [...] L’autel, le tabernacle, l’ambon et les fonts baptismaux (1981) sont dus à Joseph Riffesser. The present church building is chiefly 18th-century but the tower is medieval; it is not clear clear whether a medieval church and font existed here. The present font is modern, with a shallow square basin on a square pedestal block decorated with a grape vine and painted; it is actually mounted on casters to be moved around.
