Cognate Fonts: many such in the Mosan area
Baptismal font made of the characteristic Mosan limestone; it consists of an octagonal basin with protruding heads on every other side, two male and two female; the font was disused and missing the stem of the base when it was photographed in 1912, but a later photograph of 1989 shows the font in a different location, provided with a modern stem and a font cover; the octagonal lower base showing in 1989 is of much the same shape as the one in the 1912 photograph, so it have been simply re-tooled. The wooden cover is modern, of octagonal pyramidal shape with an orb-and-cross finial.
