Font Notes:
Gilardi (1967) reports a "vasca battesimale tardo gotica" that laid disused in the churchyard of Santa Maria as having been later moved to the garden of "casa Nizzola". Marcionetti (1969) notes and illustrates the basin of a baptismal font decorated with a number of large Maltese crosses and 6-petalled flowers inscribed in circles all around the sides of the polygonal basin. The church uses now a font of a much later date, with a buffet-rim type of wooden cover; there are also two later-date stoups in this church; all three vessels are of stone and appear to be from the 17th century or later.
