Baptismal font consisting of a large roughly hemispherical basin decorated with a protruding upper rim, whiles the sides have a ribbed pattern all around that changes into other motifs at the underbowl [it is not clear whether or not these latter motifs are original or where added later]; the upper end of the pedestal base is square, with curled ends at the angles, one of which is damaged, and moulded in between; the stem itself is octagonal and plain except for a single moulding 1/3 down. The inside of the basin has been modified and fitted with a water-fountain like spout in modern times. The font stands now on a round plinth at floor level, probably modern, in the east side of the nave, to the right (south) of the main altar, obviously not the original position of the font.
