Font Notes:
Baptismal piscina said to be ca. 500 AD, excavated between 1999 and 2005 in the mountain complex of Hohen Rätien; the font appears to be made of brick and stone and has a general rounded shape, although the inner well appears to have one side flat; it had a part of it above ground, perhaps just the parapet sides, and the rest excavated below grond level. The baptistery area, which encloses the piscina, is located below and to the northeast side of the 14th-century church.
