The present font is rather mothern; it consists of a round basin decorated with a pronounced lip-moulding and a scotia, with ribbed or gadrooned pattern on the underbowl, raised on a round moulded pedestal base; domed metal cover also ribbed, with orb-and-cross finial; this font is located in an alcove off the nave, behind a locked metal railing. [NB: we have no information on the earlier fonts of this church].
