A large roughly hemispherical basin made of granite and resembling a baptismal font has been placed outside the church, used as an ornamental planter; a part of the basin has been broken [cut?] off to fit it flush against the wall, mounted on a low concrete (?) platform; we have no corroboration that it was formerly a baptismal font inside the church, but this re-cycling of old fonts as outside planters appears to be common in this region of Galicia.
