An octagonal basin of coarse granite with cemented patches, tapering sides rounded towards the underbowl; totally plain; raised on a later [modern?] octagonal-to-square pedestal base. The octagonal flat wooden cover, is plain and modern. The font is now disused, tucked away with another old relics in a corner behind the entranceway; a later font is in use.
