Baptismal font consisting of a roughly hemispherical basin decorated with torsade pattern all around, and a thick rol moulding at the centre ring position; raised on a cylindrical pedestal base decorated with diagonal fluted pattern. A round, flat and plain wooden cover is fitted on the basin, with the side lock characteristic of this area, but there appears to be some damage to the upper rim that may suggest an earlier cover and different hardware. Both parts of the font are granite but of different colours, and the basin and base are not well matched either, suggesting this may be a composite font; the basin appears to be a work of rather crude workmanship. Also in the baptistery area of this church is another object that may be a font; it consists of an octagonal basin with short plain sides and a tall underbowl chamfer also plain; there is cut in the stone at the upper rim, suggesting a place for a cover lock; it is raised on a short pedestal base that appears to be octagonal, but of different colour stone; both parts are granite, as is the fabric of the church itself.
