Church Notes: baldaquin with scenes from the Infantia Christi in this church + monument believed to be the tomb of abbot Lope de Ventosa, said to have been built by a disciple of Maestro Mateo
Font Notes:
The stoup here is a rare occurrence in Spain, while common in France: the object is monolithic but consists of two cylindrical basins of equal volume, like a siamese twin; the share a short single circular stem, and are raised on a polygonal pedestal base. The material of both basin and base is a reddish granite. No cover present.
