Cognate Fonts: other such bases on Namur fonts of the Beauvechain type
Catalogued and illustrated in Ghislain (2009) as a baptismal font of the Namurois group, filiation Beauvechain, made of limestone (calcaire de Meuse) ca. 1150-1155. Only the square lower base has survived. It was photographed in 1942 "dans le parc du château de Wasseige". Ghislain (ibid.) does not state the location of the base at the time of publication, but his photographs suggest an interior.
