The present font in this church is modern; it consists of a hexagonal basin with moulded and crenellated sides, a rounded underbowl; on a hexagonal pedestal base, and moulded lower base of the same shape; all in a pinkish-brownish marble. Decorated metal insert [baptismal dish? or liner] in the basin. The wooden font cover is covered in Baroque detail with many cheeky angel heads, gilded scrolls, etc.; Baptism of Christ finial in the same style; 17th-18th century? [NB: we have no information on the font of the original 13th-century church here].
