Noted and illustrated in Hallbäck (1959) as a baptismal font made of soapstone in the 13th century; cracking and other damage has been repaired. Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [http://medeltidbild.historiska.se/medeltidbild/visa/foremal.asp?objektid= 930710F1] [accessed 11 January 2015] as a baptismal font of ca. 1200, consisting of a soapstone tub-shaped basin decorated with a band of saw-tooth at the upper rim, and a thin moulding round the middle; on a a round pedestal base with a roll moulding on it, and a wider circular lower base; part of the "Dalslandsgruppen" fonts. No cover present.
