Noted in Roosval (1918). Noted in O. Reutersvärd's Uppsvenska nodfuntar Ars Suetica 7 (1983: 363). Noted and illustrated in the SHM’s database Medeltidens bildvärld [http://medeltidbild.historiska.se/medeltidbild/visa/foremal.asp?objektid= 930615F1] [accessed 11 January 2015], as a 15th century baptismal font of the "nodgruppen" made of limestone. Dodecagonal (?) basin with a series of encircled rosettes framed in a running vine below; underbowl decorated with floral or foliage motifs; roll moulding at the bottom of the underbowl; splaying round base, the stem conical and with a thick braided moulding atop; the upper surface of the lower base is decorated with a vine. The font has been raised on a wide three-step plinth and located in a chapel of the north side. No cover present [NB: the entry for this church in http://boka.visitsodradalarna.se [accessed 11 January 2015] notes: "Dopfunten från 1500-talet är en kopia av den dopfunt som finns i Storkyrkan i Stockholm." [=the 15th-century baptismal font is a copy of the one in Storkyrkan, Stockholm]].
