Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [930613F1] as a baptismal font of limestone from the mid-13th century, of the "ciborietyp"; the SHM entry notes the horizontal crack now repaired. This was a simple and popular type of design favoured by Gotland workshops for export, a cylindrical basin with a marked underbowl chamfer, raised on a conical pedestal base with the roll moulding at the upper end; besides this motif the font is plain. No cover present.
