Font Notes:
Noted in Hallbäck (1961) as a baptismal font made of soapstone [cf. infra] in the 13th century [cf. infra]. Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 930707F1] as a baptismal font made of sandstone in the second half of the 12th century by a regional Västergötland workshop. The font consists of a roughly hemispherical vasin decorated with a palmette vine all around below the upper rim; raised on a round pedestal with splaying bottom, a roll moulding about 2/3 up the stem.
