There are two baptismal fonts reported in this church; the old stone font is medieval and was returned to the church after 300 years. The font is made of granite and consists of a round, roughly hemispherical basin, decorated on the underbowl with a set of round arch-heads over a pattern of short ribs; on a round-to-square base that appears to be of later date. No font cover present, but the font is topped with a brass baptismal dish to hold the water for baptism. [cf. Index entry for Gryt No. 2 for the 17th-century wooden font]
