There is an entry for Wishaw [variant spelling] in the Domesday survey [http://domesdaymap.co.uk/place/SP1794/wishaw/] [accessed 17 December 2014]; it mentions a priest but not a church in it, though there probably was one there. The Victoria County History (Warwick, vol. 4, 1947) notes: "A priest is mentioned in this parish in Domesday Book, [...] and in 1291 the living was valued at £3 6s. 8d. annually. [...] The building is of 13th-century origin [...] All the fittings and furniture including the font are modern." English Heritage [Listing NGR: SP1767794570] (1961) reports two fonts in this church, both modern: "C18 baluster font with gadrooned basin. C19 font, octagonal on cylindrical pedestal with waterholding base".
