Baptismal font located in the later church dedicated to St. Mary [cf. Index entry for Moreira de Rein No. 1 for the font in the older church]; this one consists of a crudely rendered roughly hemispheric with two very pronounced roll mouldings with deep scotias around the upper sides, the rest of the basin plain; the inner well of the basin shows a partition that separates 1/3 of the inner wellfrom the rest; the partititon is not original; raised on a makeshift base of unrelated blocks: a round pillar with a moulded top and a flat square block that could have come from anywhere in the church or elsewhere, for that matter. The wooden font is round and plain.
