A crude basin of round shape with a pronounced underbowl chamfer; damage from possible old cover hardware on the upper rim; resting directly on the ground but clearly intended to have been raised on a pedestal base. No cover present. [NB: local source suggests this may have been the font of the other church in this village -- cf. Index entry for Moreira de Rei... No. 2]
