Baptismal font of the bucket type, rather than cauldron, standing on three figural supports with a modern stone lower base; the figures are said to have been originally attached to a bronze ring; around the basin sides is a Latin-German inscription rendered in reversed [mirror] lettering probably in memory of Ludeke Mills and his wife, probably the donors of the font; there are two ear-like attachments with hanging rings at opposite ends of the upper rim; this mouldings frame the inscription; the three standing figures of the base appear male, wearing short skirts, their hands together at front. The inner well has been adapted to support an octagonal batismal dish.
