Baptismal font made of bronze; the basin is bell-shaped with two handles at opposite end of the upper rim; rests on three cast standing figures; the sides of the basin are decorated with a total of eighteen reliefs: a Crucifixion scene and smaller medallions with small scenes repeated around it: Crucifixion scene: inscription on cross reads IESVS, not INRI; two other persons in the scene could be Mary (left) and John with book (right); Harrowing of Hell?: Christ gathers the souls out of Hell; framed in a cricle and and inner hexafoil shape; two other scenes are similar, both showing a haloed figure seated, holding a book in the right hand, the left hand raised; one is framed in a Gothic arch; another scene framed in a circle appears to be the Deposition or the Ecce Homo; another scene framed in a circle shows Christ carrying the cross helped by Simon of Cyrene. There are two sets of very thin mouldings: the upper one has three mouldings; the lower one has five. The three figures on which the basin is supported are young men, perhaps clerics, their hands held together in front. The flat round cover has a cross finial/handle; the upper surface of the cover is decorated with symbols and motifs. The font is used now with a modern baptismal dish insert made of metal; it rests on a round support with three legs.
