Baptismal font said to be from the original baptistery chapel built here ca. 1313; It is a monolithic font, octagonal in shape althouth the upper rim is rounded, the sides sort of chamfered to octagonal form below it; otherwise totally plain; made of a greeneish sandstone said to originate in the Soest area.. The wooden cover, round, flat and plain, is modern. The font was discovered buried during excavations in Bilkenhoh in 1937.
