Scene Description: Source caption: "The present St Peter’s Church was opened in 1844 and enlarged in 1880, although there have been at least two previous churches on the site dating back to 1547 (or possibly even earlier) The boxed pews inside the church were taken from the 1736 building, but it is possible that they may be 16th century in origin."
