The Evangelisch-Lutherische Kirche in Bayern [www.kleinweisach-evangelisch.de/historisches.html] reports a baptismal font of 1606 in this church: "Ein besonderes Schmuckstück der Kirche ist der Taufstein. Er bildet das Leben Jesu in verschiedenen Reliefs ab: Verkündigung an Maria, Geburt im Stall, die Taufe, die Gefangennahme, der Gekreuzigte und der Auferstanden mit den Soldaten. Die farbige Fassung macht den Taufstein zu einer besonderen Kostbarkeit der Kirche in Pretzdorf" [the baptismal font consists of an octagonal basin carved and painted with seven scenes from the life of Christ: Annunciation, Nativity, Baptism of Christ, Christ arrested, Crucifixion and Resurrection]; the eighth side is decorated with an emblem; the underbowl has foliage decoration; raised on an octagonal pedestal apparently of later date.
