Noted in SIPA [ref.: IPA.00000452] [www.monumentos.pt/Site/APP_PagesUser/SIPA.aspx?id=452] [accessed 5 July 2014] as a baptismal font made of granite [="pia baptismal em granito"]. The object consists of a hemispherical basin with plain sides, a large rope moulding at the bottom of the underbowl; the inner basin is now divided into two compartments by a vertical wall, with a drain in one of the sides; these alterations are not otiginal, likely to have been carried out after the 15th or 16th century; the basin is raised on an octagonal pedestal base; the base may be of a later date.
