Font Notes:
Baptismal font of brass [hammered brass?]; it consists of a slightly tapering round basin with a round underbowl; the sides of the basin are patterned plus there is one band of beaded motif all around; round pedestal base with two round ornamented swellings; circular lower base decorated with beaded band and two mouldings. The two-step dome cover is also of brass, and appears to match the font itself; ball or orb finial. [NB: was there an earlier font in the original wooden church here?]
