The present baptismal font consists of an hexagonal basin decorated with figures at the angles; the upper part appears to be marble but it could all very well be painted wood; the base is is a kneeling figure [angel?] that holds up the basin in atlante pose with the aid of a short column; the lower base is a hexagonal platform with graded moulding decoration. [NB: we have no information on the baptismal font of the original church here].
