Noted and illustrated in Montelius & Brusewitz (1878) [the measurements shown in the drawing are calculated at 29.69 the Swedish foot]. Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 930709F2] as the basin of a baptismal made of soapstone in the mid-12th century, in the "Sven-Torbjörngruppen". The bapismal font here consists of a tapering square basin made of soapstone, said to date to the 12th century; a large Latin cross on each side; raised on a later wooden base. It belonged to the medieval church demolished in 1853.
