Baptismal font probably of soapstone; consists of a round basin with tapering sides; like the font at nearby Torsby's Fryksände kyrka [cf. Index entry] it has a band of saw-tooth just below the upper rim, and it is painted black [gives it the appearance of being the folded over lead-lining of the inner well]; a thin rope moulding around the middle of the basin side; a band of saw-tooth patterns at the lower edge of the basin; round pedestal base with roll moulding around its middle; round splaying lower base with a sort of triangulated scallop all around. There is a volume below the stone lower base, as in nearby Torsby, but we are not certain whether i is painted stone of wooden. Wooden font cover; bell-dome shape; painted; rounded brass (?) finial; appears modern.
