Baptismal font made of soapstone consisting of a cylindrical basin decorated with a simple moulding about 2/3 down the side; there is a band of saw-tooth pattern all around below the upper rim; it appears to have been painted a darker colour [or is it the lead-lining of the inner well wrapped around over the upper rim and cut in a decorative saw-tooth shape?]; raised on a roughly cylindrical pedestal base decorated with a pronounced rope moulding around its centre; round lower base decorated with star-shaped pattern all around; there is an octagonal wooden frame either around or below the lower base.
