By contrast with some of the magnificent original capitals in this church the baptismal font is quite modest; it consists of a roughly hemispherical basin with a single human face on the underbowl, on the west side; there is no cover apparent but the upper rim of the basin has evidence of anchorage points for an old cover, as well as some damage related to it; the central drain hole has been blocked; the northeast and southwest sides of the basin show damage, but it appears to be related to corrosion of the stone itself, rather than externally inflicted; it is raised on a plain round pedestal base that appears later or modern.
