Octagonal font made of sandstone in 1605 noted in Ulrike Matthies' Die protestantischen Taufbecken Niedersachsens von der Reformation bis zur Mitte des 17. Jahrhunderts (Regensburg 1998). Noted and partially illustrated in Wulf (2014): baptismal font consisting of an octagonal basin raised on an octagonal pedestal base. There are inscriptions on four of its sides, names that may identify the donors of the font, blind rectangular panels, cherubs in shallow arches, and a wide but shallow buttress on every side; graded pattern on the underbowl sides; the shaft may have been reversed. Parts of the font and base are painted. No cover present.
