Noted in SIPA [IPA.00004837] [www.monumentos.pt/Site/APP_PagesUser/SIPA.aspx?id=4837] [accessed 2 June 2014] as a baptismal font of granite, a round basin decorated with stylised ribs on a short moulded base; it is located beneath the tower, south side, partly built into the wall [="No lado da Epístola, sob a torre sineira e rasgado na parede fundeira, o batistério protegido por grades de bronze, parcialmente douradas, formando frisos, enrolamentos e, no topo, possui cartela com inscrição. Contém pia batismal em cantaria de granito, composta por pequeno pé, em toro, e taça ornada por folhas estilizadas."] The ribs around the sides are massive, as is the moulding at the upper rim. There is a modern cover but some of the metal staples in the upper rim are original.
