Church Notes: original church built by the Cistercians ca. 1250; renovated early-16thC; expanded mid-19thC; destroyed by fire in 1908 and re-built in 1909

The present font in this church is modern and made of wood; it consists of a shallow cylindrical basin rraised on three colonnettes with fluted stems and capitals and bases, on a round lower base. [NB: we have no information on the font of the mid-13th century church here].
